    Intersect GUI Editor

    Hello! So one of the biggest hurdles I have faced while using the Intersect Engine, is editing the GUI. Any big changes require a lot of work, and while it isn't difficult to edit the JSON files and figure out what does what. It does take time, and constant reopening of the client to check the changed. I decided to make a tool that will load the Intersect Engine GUI JSON files and give you a visual editor for them. It simplifies the JSON file into a TreeView that is easy to edit and save. Currently this is limited in what it will show but I will be adding much more to this tool. This is the initial alpha release, there will likely be bugs Please tell me about bugs! This project is Open Source though it is coded in VB.NET and I am trash, be thankful this even works lol. The custom font is still experimental at this time but in theory it should work, you can change the font by putting a .ttf file into the font folder and changing the font in the settings window (cog icon).     Today I did this on my project...

    Finished all the layout > menu windows, time to start work on the layout > game windows. Some things are kinda wonky due to the hierarchy of the json file and the form components used to generate the visual aspect. I also added this neat little toggle-able grid overlay to help with coordinates.     Making progress! About 50% done deserializing, and only the location/size/image edits are shown/loaded atm so i want to fine tune everything once im done and add that stuff. So for example if you change hidden to true it should hide the visual component and right now it doesnt do that. But eh. Progress!

    This is a very minimal change but I have added 2 new inputs to control the probability in which a HOT / DOT is applied and another for a percentage of the total damage amount that each tick would apply, this because by default HOT / DOT and because each tick is equivalent to being hit by the main skill several times.

    Today I did this on my project...

    Hadn't posted my updates for a few days. Made my first sprite which gave me ideas on the art style and theme of the game I'm developing I researched the usage of Perlin Noise Algorithms for the purpose of procedural world generation, and coded some test algorithms in python which I will be implementing into my game later written in C++. Learning to create land masses gave me some ideas about the mechanics of my world and how the world will be generated, which will later take temperature, pressure, humidity, etc into account in order to generate biomes. I have plans to also create some sort of seasonal-farming system now. Created my first walking animation. (still need to convert this into a sprite base with paper doll and wanna add animation to the hair, but thats all in good time. Started developing some world objects to kinda define an artstyle for my project, its not done but it is progress

    Working on elixirs that change the hairstyles. When a unnequip the item of the hairstyle (Essence) the autorun event will execute autoequip that, so this prevent that the head is bald. Also, the npc dont give another elixir if already one exist in the inventory, so this prevent duplicated hairstyles. If you use another hairstyle elixir, the old will be erased, to prevent only one hairstyle in the inventory and no duplicates. Login menu: Esc Menu in-game: Some gif of the UI, all made from photoshop and editing the .json files, took me 2 months! (January and February)

    I finished up my Character Creation, where I definitely took inspiration from Leafling and used checkBox Buttons instead of the combo box Once the player reaches lvl[20,50,80] they will be able to upgrade their class to a more powerful one!

    Hi all ! The development of the forum is underway and well advanced. A really basic forum without advanced features. The forum is optional for everyone and can be activated in the site settings. I also integrate the possibility of posting automatically (if activated in the parameters) the new news posted on the site. I will see to do more integration with Discord in the future. Once the functionality of the forums and news on discord is finished, version 2.1 will be available to everyone.

    There's the client and server strings files, yeah. Those would do it, alongside some of the graphic files that you'd want to change. There shouldn't be any source edits required for this.

    Concentrated Power Attack ! This is what you will be able to cast in Dolus once you gather enough energy through time and defeating your demons. How could we improve this ?     The delay only applies when you have configured multiple waves. (It's the time between waves) Set the quantity to 2 in the projectile editor and then fire the projectile once to see the effect.

    Sync Map Animations?

    If you use animated autotiles for the waves they will be in sync. Otherwise the animations start their loops when the maps load, and syncing those up would require a bit of code/enhancing to the client's animation systems.

    Intersect GUI Editor

    This is it fam. Whether it works or not this is as close to an official gui editor you're gonna get for the foreseeable future. One thing that wouldn't be easy but insanely cool regardless (feature request inbound) would be bundling the MonoGame content builder and providing a gui to generate game fonts by selecting system font files and a helper for selecting character regions to generate. Either way good work, it looks great, thanks for sharing @OniSensei and I hope it is helpful to many around here.

    Hi everyone ! V2.1 pre-release is available on two website (see first post) for debugging. I have updated v2.0 installation package and fix zip tonight. U can replace your file with fix zip files now. Many corrections have taken place on v2.1 and I thank those who reported all the bugs to me. Warning : If your game is modified from source, check that the API is still functional, before installing the CMS.

    Can you tell us what you're doing exactly? I'm not sure what you're editing and then running exactly. (The strings.cs file is also overridden by the strings files from the resources folder when run)

    Source code editing?

    The json files are not source code. The json only describes properties for elements within the actual source code. Once loaded the jsons are rewritten with the loaded properties + any new objects since the json was created. Since you are adding objects in the json that do not exist in the code itself they are being removed.     Adding something extra as a context of what composer is, it can be said that it is the equivalent of npm in javascript that generates the node_modules with all the necessary packages to be able to work since the original projects only have the source code and a package.json to have a Register the dependencies necessary for correct operation, another example more linked to the engine is the nugets packages, when you download the source code of the engine the nugets packages are not included, when you open the solution for the first time VS downloads those packages for you from automatically, in conclusion: composer is the dependency manager for projects with php, you just have to download the executable and write composer install in your LOCAL project.

    Hi ! The installation guide is complete if you follow the steps and you have downloaded the zip of release 2.0.0 For your screen, this is the installation guide to work locally on your pc before uploading on your server. I have add the deployment step => https://github.com/Thomasfds/intersect-cms-unleashed/wiki/Local-work#3-deployment Your current problem is that you are missing the dependencies necessary for the correct functioning of the CMS. (the vendor file). These dependencies are not available on the git repo because they can quickly reach 100mb. To install them on a local pc or on-line server, you have to install composer and have composer install then to put them online you have to follow step 3 above. As you want to upload, go directly through the release zip ^^ https://github.com/Thomasfds/intersect-cms-unleashed/releases/tag/2.0.0 The installation.sql file is required for the database. In the next updates, I will put two packgage clean installation and upgrade package with only the files to replace I recommend everyone to make a local version on your pc before going to your web server, this allows you to work the whole (template etc) before uploading and therefore allows you to work your own themes etc! I'm French and my English is really bad, I'm doing my best sorry. I add thanks on the original post For all : I just added a zip (fix) containing the files to replace with the latest updated patches https://github.com/Thomasfds/intersect-cms-unleashed/releases/tag/2.0.0 New install download and unzip 2.0.0.zip and after fix.zip and unzip in the project folder for bug fix patch, after all, delete the cache for the changes to take effect.

If you thought the normal (Easy) Aun was hard, this one will make you pull your hair. Good luck spirits out there, will be recording the raid against her soon hopefully.
