    Edited main thread. Update: - Now we have event spells that can deal damage - We also have the option to have bound spells - Player and global variables can now be added/subtracted from other player and global variables in the event editor!

    Looking great man! Only suggestion I have is to maybe add shadows beneath the tree autotiles. Since there is what appears to be a thick tree canopy I feel like a shadow would make sense. Just my two cents. Either way looking great as always!

    Combat + Event additions Introduction Combat has been advanced heavily since the days of eclipse, such as advanced projectiles, dash spells, warping to target spells etc but we could always do better! So without further due, allow me to announce our new additions! Spells Shields Yes you heard that right, we now have shields in Intersect that can block damage for a specified period of time and the strength of the shield can be specified in the spell editor. Here are the results ingame: On Hit Spell Types This spell works slightly differently to most spells, it adds an "on hit" status onto the target so with their next attack (Non-spell attack) will recast the spell and apply the damage, buffs and spell effects! Sleep You can now put targets to sleep! Works exactly the same way as stun just a different name and text for a little bit of diversity! Warp To Target Now has damaging options if you want this move to deal damage to the target! The ability to make spells bound to the user like bound items Damaging event spells. Events Hide/Show player You can now hide/show players with the event system. This is important for cutscenes! (or even a cheeky perma stealth spell for ninja admins ) Is item equipped condition A mass requested condition is finally here! You can now check if an item is equipped for conditions! This will help for stealth operations where you don't want NPC's to attack you if you are disguised as them! Adding/Subtracting player variables and global variables Let us know what you think, stay tuned! I will be updating this thread as I finish off what is in the WIP section!

    I guess if everyone tells me they need to see source before they can give an estimation, there is some truth to it! I'd appreciate that a lot! I was actually planning on releasing the systems to the community anyway (except for the beams/beam struggle) so that works out perfectly! Great to see you have the same mindset and want to help out!     Hi, Any people that know how to program here that can give an estimation of what they want to get paid for these systems after source comes out? Please let me know if you need more information. Hair system - Choose a hairtype on character creation - Hair is a layer, just like all the other paperdoll layers - Ability to change hair with events - Hair stops rendering when a helmet is equipped Transformation spell upgrade: - Transformation changes the hair layer instead of overlaying a sprite - Be able to set a Mana drain on the transformation - Revert when Mana is empty Dash 2.0: - Players are able to change direction while dashing (Dash distance is not based on tiles but on a timer) - Blurry animation on the sprite to give the illusion of super speed Beam spell: - Set a min and max amount of projectiles that can be fired by a beam spell - When the player holds the key, the beam spell charges - The longer you hold the key, the more projectiles fire Beam struggle: - When a beam hits another another beam a QTE (Quick Time Event) or something similar comes up, the player who finishes the QTE faster wins a tile. - Beam spells get a 'power' attribute - Options when a beam struggle is possible: Check if beam power is within a range, check if Magic Power is within a range

    It's pretty hard to give an estimation without the actual sources as without see how the code was build we can't estimate the number of files to modify and how many time it will take soooo for an estimation i think is too early for the moment. But what i can say is when the sources will be release i could try to do at least the Hair system & Transformation spell upgrade but only for free and if you agree if i share the source modification to the community, don't want to be paid but i prefer anyone could have it ... =s

    Agree with Zeta. Shadows would make sense and looks sweet! Love the colours! I'd also add that the palm trees in the last screen seem kinda random

    A lesson in life

    A life lesson as told through chicken nugget. So Life is like chicken nugget. See, them chicken nuggies. Those are some good ass chicken nuggies. But the problem with life, is you keep trying to eat the chicken nuggies with this bitch: And you do this, because when you were younger, you were taught not to eat with your hands. it's quite fucking rude. You want a truth about these chicky nuggies? You'd be a lot happier if you just used ya hands. This has been a life lesson from the perspective of chicken nugget. thx.
