Yeah this is purely a test of the core features, hence why the zombie currently goes negative health, there just debugging tools to help me. There will eventually be a flashlight system for the lighting and you will have to find batteries or power sources to be able to use it hopefully forcing the player to use it sparingly

Thanks guys. I might end up going with what I know which is C# so it may end up being Unity that I use.

  3. So I've been playing around with Intersect here and there and just thought I would show off the map I made to test things out. Nothing special but, anyways, here it is:

The demo looks awesome dude I love the reloading! Always need a circle of light in zombie games too, good progress dude I even like the sprite design you got going.

I don't think the zombie is supposed to die in this test. He is just showing off the features in place, like moving, shooting, reloading, hitting a target, the blood spatter, etc.

When it came out it was a buggy mess; however, they have greatly improved it. I purchased it on sale again (refunded 1st time), but not sure I would pay full price for it.

  9. I feel nostalgic here with all the engine updates and domain name, it's awesome, though, I hate myself for not having the will to work on a project...

  10. I completely agree... I started with QBasic (There was no IDE or windows forms back then, it was all code and came packaged with some versions of MS-DOS) The event system is designed for people who do not know how to code. When utilized properly a lot of systems that would normally have to be hard-coded can be implemented right into the map editor without typing a single line of actual code. I like this perspective on things as well, the developers will most likely make good use of this.

Been working past few days on a custom crafting system. You Drag the item onto a tile attribute, be it a Furnace, Alchemy Table, Cooking pot or Anvil, and the crafting UI opens up you can see the Recipes of the item you dropped in. From there you can see all the information about that Recipe. If you have the correct items you can click one of the options to Craft.
