  1. You keep saying stopped playing, but its a engine not a game. You can add this functionality if you want. If it did exist as you claim, you can go back and find the code to re-implement it. I am not super familiar with intersect, but it should not be that much work, just a bit of path finding knowledge, which probably already exists for npcs. If you arent willing to add anything to the engine your game will be pretty generic anyway. As for the responses, if you come in with an aggressive and negative attitude, you are likely to get aggressive and negative answers. The developers have poured thousands of hours of their free time to give you a free product. They owe you nothing. While it may annoy the hell out of you personally, the engine is made for the masses, and decisions of what to add and what not to add needs to be made. It might not align with your personal thoughts, but thats why its open source.
  2. Contains lots of interesting and useful information. Not just for Unity users but game dev as a whole. https://www.ascensiongamedev.com/resources/filehost/3f75520f7762ed9362ee0fdb0854f4ff.pdf Basically, a Unity ad, but still interesting.
  3. Wow, thanks so much for this. I think it is the first of its kind. Great to see a perspective that 90% of us wont. Really great to hear about a active game in the wild. really resonates with me :). I completely agree that the loudest can outweigh the many. Another thing to note is, that while the feedback may be valid. Their solution to fix it might not be. It is good to see what the issue is, and then see if their solution truly meets the core issue.
  4. Glad to see you doing things right and sharing the love. Stoked to see what is to come.
  5. For non coding tutorials, I always found the intersect event system powerful, but a bit confusing.
