  1. i'll kick it off with my current obsession MMORPG. TERA ONLINE anyone else play this? right now i have a level 65 ninja a level 65 reaper and a level 65 brawler. i main in the reaper, i'm on the highwatch server and in the guild Virtual. thats me! not an up to date picture considering gear, right now i got +12 conflate gear and i'm working on getting my starfall weapon for when we run dungeons since my DPS is a little low.

  4. i realllly like this. i'll mess with it and try to figure it out, seems simple enough. @diefool only language i'm fluent in is english, the more logical the command system is the better. when i was, what, maybe like 12 or some crap i tried to teach myself VB and was annoyed at the term object oriented... so i just designed fun little applications where the buttons didn't do a damn thing LOL. flow diagrams where you attach statements to outcomes or something like that would be kinda cool. you guys create the language, but have two separate modes for editing this stuff, advanced for the programmer brains and then simple mode for the visual graphical people. EDIT: be real guys, you probably would REALLY like it if this engine got widespread acceptance outside of the population of users who have done little more then a hello world. there are imaginations out there that just cannot grasp even UNITY (thats me, i'll mess with the shadow detail and give objects textures but i have no CLUE how to make even a simple primitive respond to my inputs so i can move it around in "play" mode)
  5. well, i screwed with that mmo maker just a tiny bit... there were some in-game editing things if i remember, i might be wrong tho... i really liked that... is that going to be in this? also, quests, when and how? right now i'm just doing a simple little game, everything is made on the fly just for testing, so there isn't a plot or anything lol. each class spawns in their own starting area and in that area is the class trainer who will take you "on-rails" to level up to i guess like 10 or something and along the way the quests you do will award you skills and items. simple! then when that is done, each separate class trainer will have a dialogue option OR there will be a transportation system (like a flight operator or something from tera) that takes you to the main hub city. i see quests but its gray'd out, but if i could do this with the shops or something... iiiiiiii gotta go to bed its 730am lol.
  6. hey, i'm navjack27! don't wanna say all that much yet bout myself. i always liked this game engine and the one that came before it. the style of it and ease of use is just great. i've never been a person who could get into and understand programming but i've always liked tinkering with world building and map editors and stuff like that. i've always really enjoyed working with the ones that were more visual and drag and drop rather then SEEMINGLY over-convoluted in their approach. i think the editor in warcraft 3 was just great, making custom maps was a ton of fun. i sometimes lack in creativity but i enjoy the process even if its not something that gets released or used by anyone but me.
