  1. I've seen your facebook post with the bike, and it looks like it is high poly, and has lots of useless loop cuts especially on parts that are so insignificant. You can cut a lot of the rendering time if you remove the poly surplus and add lower res textures on parts that do not require as much details as the obvious bigger parts. For example the chain, I hope you won't model a high poly detailed chain and instead be smarter and make a lowpoly version, if you want to go even faster, you can extrude a plane and just apply the texture of the chain with transparent background., haha, this won't look too good tho. Do not add details by adding more geometry, instead, use Normal Maps, bump maps and stuff like that. Also, do not add more geometry, loop cuts than needed, if the low poly does its job well, you don't need to add more polys just for the sake of it. Here is a good example of a Low Poly bike that still looks awesome.

  2. It's do-able but this is going to be a many hour project for me Maybe see what some other guys can do for you while I slowly pluck away at it.

  3. http://ccaenter.es/tierrasrobadas/ Greetings! My name is Raeven, I'm a spanish YouTuber, writer and community administrator for www.ccaenter.es Last year I published Tierras Robadas: La Roca del Destino, a project of mine which took way too many years to complete. Since always me and the few guys who followed the project wanted to make an online game about our universe, but we never found any 2D or 3D engine which satisfied us. Until we found Intersect, of course. Even in it's alpha stage I absolutely fell in love with the mapping system and the general stable feel of it and three days ago we started the project. We don't know yet how customizable it is, as we'd like to add some custom programmed stuff in the future. For now we'll start our work with custom graphics - we'd like to make it feel more like a graphical novel than an anime-pixelart-fest, hence this style someone may find strange. In the future we'd like to update both this post and our own on the CCA Entertainment site so both communities see our progress. As I previously said, we'd like to launch the game on Steam (we already have a Greenlight license, with one project approved!), if we ever do so I'd like to give a small % of our earnings to the development of the engine as gratitude for your work. We'd appreciate any feedback or even contributions - if you're an artist, want to help with the programming stuff or any kind of material, just PM me. Features planned: 路 Rich story based on the novel 路 Huge explorable world, with puzzles and rewarding content 路 Deep PVE progression 路 Weekly/Monthly content updates 路 Oldschool hardcore feel, inspired by the original Everquest Some updated screenshots of work we've done so far:

  4. Yes I also agree with the fact that it does look odd without pedals chain or sprocket but It would take alot longer to render etc with the chain, especially once it has been textured.

  5. I agree, far to reflective. However, very nice besides that. Only problem I see is that the bike looks odd without pedals or a chain

  6. Ohhh! Sorry, I was just talking about the fact that he needs a vb.net programmer. Because, I got some skills in VB.Net. That's all. But sorry again.
